Winning Concept Pitch Presentation of 2012's Media Battle.
Students of Saxion and Utrecht competed for the 5th time in the ‘Media Battle’. Businessmen and -women from Utrecht and Enschede came up with different business-specific problems to be solved by teams of 3 to 5 students. Concepts were tailored to the needs of the clients and on the last day of the one-week-competition, a jury of professionals chose the best concept after pitch presentations.
My team had the task to attract a missing target group at the annual art festival "Kunst in het Volkspark" in Enschede. The group of people at the age of 18-25 years should be adressed.
Our analysis of the event itself and all marketing and communication efforts of the client led to clear and simple ideas. We advised to invite the desired target group specifically by a smart combination of classical and modern media and a diversified range of the event's program and offer.
Our concept won the competition and we brought the trophy "home" to Enschede.
